For the second time this season Wulfs made a visit to Moor Lane, this time to face Kynoch.
With all matches off down the club due to frozen pitches it was amazing that this game was going to take place, however, the snow had not touched this part of Birmingham.
The pitch was a bit uneven and Wulfs struggled to get the ball down and play to feet. Yet again goal-scoring opportunities were created and spurned.
Wulfs worked the ball well from Martin Dalton on the left and the ball found Jammer Perkins twelve yards out but he blazed over.
0-0 at half time and Wulfs felt they could press on and win the game against a team that seemed to not know what formation they were playing.
Into the second half and Ben Jeavons ended up one on one with the keeper but took his shot early from 18 yards and it went wide.
A further half chance fell to Ben Kimpton but this time it was blocked.
Into the final five minutes and a great tackle in the Wulfs area by Jammer Perkins was met with a dive by the Kynoch player, the ref waved play on and the ball broke to Danny Patrick. Wulfs were 3 on 3 but the ref called back play because Perkins was scolding the midfielder in his teacher tone but also throwing in such words as "you diving cheating c$nt, theres f%ck all wrong with you". This then got a response from Kynochs youthful left winger who said "Shut the F*ck up you white MC Hammer".
Wulfs couldn't understand the comment until on closer inspection, Jammer's head and flat top does look remarkably like Stanley Kirk Burrell's.
As the ref pulled the pair of them apart I'm sure he said "Please Jammer Don't Hurt 'Em".
This was really the only highlight of the game.
Final score: Kynoch 0 Old Wulfrunians 0.
